How to: Map to a frequently used network drive on a Windows network.
Solution:
Display the pop-up menu for the drive to be mapped, and select the drive letter. Select 'Reconnect at Startup'.
1) Double-click the 'Network Neighborhood' icon on the desktop.

2) Do one of the following:
a) Double-click the icon of the computer that contains the shared folder you want to map.
b) If the network server is not visible, then double-click to open 'Entire Network', and double-click the icon of the computer containing the share you want to map.

3) Right-click the shared folder you want to map. (A pop-up menu appears.)
4) Select 'Map Network Drive...' from the pop-up menu. (The 'Map Network Drive' dialog box appears.)
5) Select the drive letter you want to map from the 'Drive' drop-down list box.
6) Select the 'Reconnect at logon' check box.
NOTE: This will maintain the mapping when the computer is rebooted.
7) Click 'OK'.
